Dana Danger
Office Assistant, Kennel Assistant
Dana has owned pets all her life, and she was a client here at Benson Animal Hospital for many years. When she was looking for a new opportunity in the summer of 2015, a position opened at the clinic, and Dana jumped at her chance. She’s been here ever since, and is proud to serve the area’s pets and animal parents as a member of the hospital family!

Dana attended North Carolina State University to earn her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and has worked in the scientific field for more than 20 years. Now, she helps out here at the hospital on weekends, and especially likes caring for pets who are boarding with the clinic. In addition to her responsibilities here at Benson Animal Hospital, Dana is very active with a local animal rescue organization and finds that her hands-on experience here at the hospital helps with all of her animal welfare efforts!

When she isn’t helping pets to live happier, healthier lives, Dana likes spending time with her menagerie of animal companions at home, gardening, snow-skiing and kayaking, and traveling. She even owns a creek-side cabin in Virginia and loves to visit when the weather is nice.
